ATLANTA, Dec. 16, 2024 – Norfolk Southern Corporation (NYSE: NSC) has named Felismina “Mina” De Oliveira as Vice President Enterprise Resources, reporting directly to Chief Operating Officer John Orr. The move expands the responsibilities of her previous role as Assistant Vice President Enterprise Resources to include the company’s precision fuel program, strategic supplier management, and sourcing.
De Oliveira joined Norfolk Southern in June of this year and has since played a pivotal role in driving innovation and efficiency throughout the organization, significantly contributing to the railway’s operational improvement. In this new role, her focus will be transforming the company’s broader sourcing function to deliver industry-leading value at every level of the supply chain. Leveraging the combined power of data and resources, she will lead partnerships to further refine processes and eliminate waste.
“Mina is a master of combining boots on the ground with data mining to unlock previously unseen opportunities for resource optimization and efficiency,” Orr said. “In addition to her tenacity and ingenuity, she is an exceptional leader who builds resilient teams and champions sustainability, acting as a key enabler to enterprise goals.”
With more than two decades of experience in supply chain management, logistics, and supply transformation, De Oliveira previously held multiple roles of increasing responsibility for Canadian National Railway. She also served in leadership at global organizations, including her tenure as Chief Operating and Sustainability Officer at Targray Group Inc. She holds an Executive MBA from UQAM University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Concordia University. She is fluent in English, French, and Portuguese.
