Norfolk Southern is giving $200K to eight local Toys for Tots chapters across its operating divisions. The donations of $25,000 each, will go to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation to help buy toys for local campaigns in Atlanta; Cincinnati; Birmingham, AL; Columbus, OH; Norfolk, VA; Elkhart, IN; Binghamton, NY; and the Capital Region of New York.

In addition to the funding, Norfolk Southern employees have also individually donated toys to support their local communities across our 22-state network.

“Since 1947 the Marine Corps and Toys for Tots has collected and distributed toys to children who might not otherwise have Santa coming down their chimney,” said Kristin Wong, Director Corporate Giving for Norfolk Southern. “We’re proud of our Norfolk Southern employees who have donated toys to brighten the holidays for these children and we’re pleased to support it with $200,000 in funding to purchase additional toys.”
